Major Tom
The best new restaurant in Canada.
Every monumental shift, changing of the guard, new era, and time of renewal calls for a celebration. It’s time to enter society again, to cut loose, to try on some rose-coloured glasses – even if it’s just for one evening – and to see and be seen.
It will greet you 40 floors above it all, where the views, the service, the food, the drinks will imbue a sense of optimism, lift your spirits, and make you social again. Major Tom’s goal is to make you feel like you’re on top of the world. The mid-century-inspired decor by Frank architecture is curated and comfortable, the playlist is cool and uplifting, and the vibe is energetic. It’s an elevated experience without the pretension.
Barbarella Bar
Where the Amalfi Coast meets the Pacific Northwest.
Inspired by the chic mid-century yacht culture and cuisine of southern Italy and the fresh flavours of the Pacific Northwest, Barbarella brings sun-drenched flavours to Calgary. Indulge in a long, riposo-inspired lunch, dinner by the fireplace, or take advantage of one of the best happy hours in the city.
Goro + Gun
Japanese Noodle Bar
In the kitchen, six stock pots simmer with delicious broths. Tuck into a steaming bowl of Hakata-style ramen, made even better with a smoked egg. Or depart from noodle fare with house specialties like the tuna poke or spicy satay prawns. Vegetarian and gluten free options abound, and the gyoza, sauces, and pastes are made in-house with fresh ingredients. Whenever possible, dishes are prepared using wild fish instead of farmed. Complete your meal with one of 30 sakes from Goro + Gun’s curated selection.

Concorde Group’s First Cafe
Within Stephen Avenue Place is needs must, your one-stop-coffee/juice/smoothie/pastry/breakfast/sandwich-shop. A creative collection of freshly baked treats is the star of the menu, showing off the talents of our pastry team. On the beverage side, smoothies are made in-house along with freshly pressed juices. Pigeonhole
Canada’s Best New Restaurant of 2015
Pigeonhole’s second perch opened in Stephen Avenue Place in 2024. Recognized as Canada’s Best New Restaurant of 2015 by Air Canada’s enRoute magazine, Pigeonhole was first dreamed up in the back of a London taxi. It was conceptualized as a place for spontaneity; a place you’d discover on your way to dinner and never leave. In the chef’s own words, the snack bar is “left of centre” with no specific culinary focus and includes a small but articulate natural wine, beer and cocktail list. Focused on serving small plates, the menu will give customers a culinary experience like no other in Calgary with creative dishes like the nori crumpets, tuna crudo and salted halibut perogies to share.
Pineapple Food Hall
A Curated Collection
Pineapple Hall brings together a curated collection of items from Concorde Group’s stalwart venues, including Lonely Mouth, Double Zero Pizza, Surfy Surfy and Clive Burger, in a food hall setting. Opened in the fall 2024, this multi-concept space was years in the making. This unique venue is intended to be a place for people to gather from morning until night while experiencing a mix of concepts from around the city all at once.
